NICKEL BRONZE – Bare & Flux Coated
Nickel bronze brazing rod is a high strength, wear resistant brazing alloy for braze welding high strength steels & cast or malleable irons. Also for brazing of some nickel based alloys where high temperatures are allowable and can be used for the fusion welding of copper based alloys of similar composition. Because of its high strength and superior wear resistance it is excellent for wear resistant overlays on metal to metal sliding wear applications – worn or broken gear teeth, valve seats, worn bearings, shafts, etc. Also sometimes referred to as Nickel Silver Rod.
